The El Paso Police Department is looking for a man accused of dragging a German Shepherd to death. As per the accounts of several witnesses, 43-year-old Jose Bautista was seen driving a Chevy pickup truck with the dog tethered behind it. The dog’s body was heavily grazed and it seemed that he had suffered a slow and painful death. When confronted by the onlookers, Jose simply tossed the dog’s dead corpse in the back of his pickup truck and drove away.

The department’s Animal Cruelty Unit has launched a full-fledged investigation into the dog’s death. If you have any information about the whereabouts of Jose, do contact the El Paso Police Department. Spread the word.
